AWFUL MountingCullenLook, the shelf itself is a shelf that it. My issue is the mounting that comes with the shelving. It is the worst mounting I've ever experienced from an IKEA product. I purchased these shelves for a PAX build, hoping they would work as perfectly as the shelves that can be purchased with the BILLY bookcases (highly recommend). These particular mounts are meant to be pushed into the mounting hole then screwed in. That does not work! A screwdriver is recommend. The mount does not go all the way in. I tried a drill, that does not work as well. In addition to this (which will leave ugly gapping if you try and force it in). What if you measured incorrectly OR want to move the shelf later, think again. Removing these mounts destroys the particle board and looks exactly how you'd think, hideous. Very poorly designed, awful for long-term use, and impossible to install to fit accordingly, oh, and it's overpriced. Recommend purchasing mounts from Home Depot as an easy fix.1
