Shelf Is Shorter Than StatedKathrynThe length of this shelf is supposed to just over 39 inches. It’s not. It is just over 38 inches. That may not matter to you if you’re using it with the system, but if you’re using it for something else, such as a closet like me, it will be too short. The quality is good, but the fact that Ikea is stating it’s an inch longer than it is drops the rating quite a bit for me.
WHY CERTAIN DIMENSIONS DO NOT COME IN GRAY-BEIGEPatriciaWe recently purchased the entire set of PAX Wardrobe. When we wanted to add some shelves 50x35 cm (19 5/8 x 13 3/4"), we were surprised that they only come in dark gray or white, NOT GRAY-BEIGE. Now we have a non-uniform wardrobe, consisting of two completely different colors. If anyone from customer service can explain, I 'd really appreciate it.

Challenging to installKatheiIt's a perfectly fine shelf, but a pain to install. The shelf supports are really difficult to put in properly, I had to use a mallet and pliers to bend them into the holes even with them fully screwed in. It's sturdy and holds a lot when installed, but the supports are just torturous.
