Nice Fridge PresentationKateI normally trim my herbs (basil, cilantro, parsley, even lettuces and celery) at the base then store in a coffee cup with water and covered with plastic bag. This is the same idea but much better looking in the fridge. So far I’ve done celery and parsley and they both lasted a long time. I think the real key is in the trimming right before you put it in the water. The actually product is a little tricky. To open you sort of just squeeze the plastic which feels like you are going to break it. However, I think it’s sturdier than it feels.4
Works better on some herbs than othersNancyI saw the other review regarding the cilantro. I had basil and sage in mine. The basil died pretty quickly, but the sage is still going weeks later. I think it must work better on sturdier herbs.4
Doesn't workChintanUsed it on cilantro. Did not work. Everything died despite changing out the water often.1
