THE STICKER GLUE! :( :( :(SarahThe middle piece has TWO obnoxiously obvious, identical warning stickers with glue so sticky, I scraped down through the veneer and the glue is STILL sticky-stuck. It’s all over my fingers and only fingernail polish is getting it off. This is MADNESS. 2

Sturdy and good valueKristaWe needed an inexpensive cabinet for tv and wanted something that would go with the floating shelves on the wall. This was similar color and style. It was easy to assemble by myself, looks good, and very sturdy. We also got some of the black fabric bins to go in it. Very happy with purchase. 5

First bad IKEA review 😕KarolyneBeen buying Ikea products and building them myself for years and NEVER had any complaints until I purchased this product. I’ve had the Kallax Shelf twice before and wanted to try the Kallax TV unit this time and boy do I regret it.
Just while assembling it got scratch in a bunch of places. I wasn’t rough or anything. Never had this experience with any of the ikea desks, shelf’s, etc. The paint for this one is horrible.
Not only that but the TV unit comes with big orange and black warning stickers in the middle second shelf that are obvious so I tried to gently remove them and it took the paint off! My goodness, this does NOT compare to the original Kallax Shelf!
For the same price you can get the original Kallax which is bigger and better qualit so definitely go for that one.1

Great!LindaThis was pretty easy to put together by myself. One issue I had putting it together was the dowels since it has 2 long ones that didn’t fit anywhere, so I had to order more of the smaller ones.
The other issue is that it scratches very easily. I accidentally got a small scratch in the back just from a slight slip of the little tool that comes with it. So once it’s in place, it’ll be permanent.
I read where one reviewer said that they had to take the whole tv stand apart to add the separate base, but I didn’t have that issue. I only had to take out 4 screws which wasn’t a problem at all.
Still working on putting the drawers and doors on it, which has been the most time consuming part of the whole assembly process.
Overall I love it and very happy with my purchase. 5

The birch-look wood grain color looks great, and they put the main fastener bolts on the sides in this product, which looks far superior to them being on top. Thanks for finally making this!5
