Very usefulSusanI first bought a Kallax without any inserts. My 2nd purchase was a Kallax with drawers. They are very easy to install and very useful and look good.
Completely useless drawer as they are too smallBryanI purchased a Kallax bookshelf 3x4, so 12 squares, and ordered two of these drawer inserts to go with to be used with it for the purpose of storing CDs. While the rest of the squares would be used to store vinyl LPs. However, these drawers are so small that if you put a standard CD in them, positioned so you make two rows of 29 for a total of 58 CDs per shelf, you can't close the drawer... It's a few millimeters too small. So the only option is to rotate the CD, making it so you can't see the label, and then you can get one row of 29 rotated one way, and two rows of 13 rotated perpendicular for a total of 55 CDs. However, you'll not know what any of the CDs are because you can't see the label.

Great ideaCarolynThese are great idea. Disappointed that two of the three sets were damaged when I received them. The three sided pieces were torn on fold seams I was able to glue and fold enough that I could anchor them. The part of drawer in back was splitting. I should of sent the two sets back but didn't want to wait another week or two to put kallag shelves together. Loved the kallag cubbies and the Billie shelves and the other shelf inserts. Would of loved getting a couple more drawer inserts but don't want to stress about them arriving damaged. I ordered I believe 5 billies and about 10-12 of kallags and another shelf. They all arrived safely and love them. Will have to think about the drawers sets.

Wish I bought these a long time agoAmorisaI recently moved and had to recreate my art studio in my new home. I have had a Kallax 5x5 shelf unit for many years already but just used baskets or those clear plastic shoe boxes to keep my supplies organized in it. I discovered that ikea made drawers to fit this shelf unit and bought enough to fill the bottom half. They were so easy to build and install. They make my studio look so organized and sharp instead of a bit haphazard. They also improve its functionality. I love them.
Looks greatDanielOk so let's be honest here they are cute but they don't hold much. They are great as underwear drawers or side table drawers. I used some fancy wrapping paper to line them with and I love the look.

Super easy to put in and super useful!
Far shallower than it looksLeilaI feel like this product grossly misrepresents its depth. Even the drawings depict the drawers as being roughly 80% the height of the front panel, but this is far from the truth. I don't believe the number saying it's nearly 3 inches deep, too. It looks like it's not even 2 inches in reality. Really unhappy with these drawers, as I do not feel they're suitable for a dresser in the slightest.
Great for the priceRachelNot as solid as previous version. Also it would be smart if there were 2 sets of pre-drilled holes so that if you are installing drawers in horizontally adjacent openings, you could choose the other set of holes to avoid the screws drilling into the dividing wall without hitting.
Broken pieces, poor qualityElsaI bought online and received 2 out of 4 broken. I was told to take it back to the store to return, where is an hour away and I don’t drive. The bookcase is fine but the drawers are very poor quality.
