Kallax 2 drawer insertsSallieThis is a great addition to my Kallax shelves. They are easy to install, are sturdy and hold a lot. They also really neaten up the look of the open Kallax shelves. I highly recommend them
Waste of Space, Unusable DrawersJanetThe drawers have very short sides and back making them absolutely useless. They waste so much space that could be easily usable if the sides were as tall as the face. I'm very disappointed as I always thought IKEA's mission was to optimize space, using every possible inch (centimeter). These drawers are not at all in line with what IKEA promotes for itself. I'm especially upset because now I have to disassemble and return my entire Kallax system as I was depending on these drawers be able to hold a much larger quantity of loose objects like socks and underwear.
Much Needed DrawersKimI bought the Kallax System but soon realized I wanted drawers . These work great and were easy to install. In the 10 sets I had one that was damaged. IKEA was great and immediately sent me a replacement . Love this!!
Really cool, but don't like the materialsEricaThe drawers are really cool and almost self supporting so you could connect it with 3m tape vs drilling into your kallax unit. But they made it out of cardpaper thin mdf for the sides of the "cube" (so mine was damaged on arrival and then they literally just painted chipboard for the sides and drawer back. They didn't even veneer it, so a painted chip was already chipping off straight out of the package.

Drawers work well, but don’t sit securely, insufficient instructionsLukasI had a very hard time securely inserting these drawers into my Kallax piece. I don’t believe the instructions were adequate. Currently, the housing for my drawers is only secured (screwed in) on one side, while the other is loose and slides forward and backward during use. I very thoroughly went through the instructions manual and couldn’t find anything on how to secure it to the other side.
The drawer itself works as intended, and I’m glad I bought it, but I wish I could properly fasten/secure the entire housing of it.

Functional storageAlfredThese little drawer kits make the Kallax cube more functional. The only comment I have is the attachment screws should be offset. Offsetting left and right side would allow side by side installation of a bank of drawers, so screws don’t hit each other. No biggy, I drilled new location holes.

Cardboard backing broke and need to replace the whole thing!Anonymous reviewerThe weakest part of this product, which is the cardboard insert, held together with tape, broke. Despite the drawers, rails, and all other hardware being perfectly good, I apparently have to pay $25 to replace the whole thing instead of just being able to buy the flimsy cardboard insert. Even though it’s used in multiple products, it doesn’t have a unique part number, so there are no replacements for it. Really disappointed with this because I would say that it’s a decent pair of drawers, but it’s not reliable at all.

Beautiful but too smallMaryI love the look of these drawers and the construction/installation was straightforward. I had originally envisioned 5 of these inserts strategically placed in my Kallax 5x5. However, after installing three of them I realized that there is too much lost space. The drawers are shallow and short and not useful for what I need. I returned the other two inserts, sadly.
Customizable solutionSusanI love how customizable many Ikea products are, and this drawer set is one example. It fit perfectly into my shelving unit, is sturdy, and was easy to install. I highly recommend this product.

Great for the priceAshleyFor what its made of its very well made compared to other brands. Cleans up easily. Only downside is it doesnt seem to take much weight at all because of how it connects to the main unit. So as long as you keep it very light its great!
