Broken after 1 yearGeorgeI had it for 1 year and right when it got hot I came home to fine the heat made the button to angle it break off. I’ve press that button maybe 3 times since I’ve bought it definitely something they should look into and fix 1
1 month :(NThis was a great a buy, but today is a month from purchase and we found a screw on the ground and noticed that one of the arms wasn't extending correctly. I really like the convenience of having an umbrella but am disappointed at the quality of this product. I'm also disappointed that the pay station wouldn't accept my email address and I can't find this product in my purchases. I guess it's my loss.2
junk-do not buySusanneThese are total junk. Easy to put together and to push open. However, with both that I bought, when retracting them, the piece that you use to push it up totally breaks. I was careful with the second, rereading instructions, etc, to make sure it didn't break. But sure enough, it did the same thing with the second one. 1

Beautiful but not for short peopleAnnmarieReally like this umbrella, but it's impossible for me, I´m only 5ft1, to open. It's just too high. My husband have to help open and close the umbrella. We had another umbrella from IKEA before, and that had at better construction that worked for me.3
Lasted one seasonHeatherBeautiful umbrella but just not built to last. It worked well for one season and when we took it out of storage for this summer 2 of the arms sag and won’t stay up properly. The tilt mechanism is also starting to fail. Disappointed that we need to get a new umbrella so soon.
The pole also seems to be on the smaller side? It doesn’t fit well into our base even when the base is fully tightened. 2
A short, beautiful lifeErikI love this umbrella and it looks great, but I think I purchased a dud. After about a week of careful use, one of the arms/ribs stopped extending properly, so part of the umbrella is sagging.3
Just what I wanted.SusanThis is a replacement for an umbrella a bought at Ikea about 9 years ago. It has been updated and seems better than the old one. I still fits in the base. I am very happy. I wasn't sure I would like the off white color of the fabric, but I do. It is a sophisticated color.

Screws fall off easilyAnandaLiked the umbrella but unfortunately the screws that hold the arms open fall off easily and we ended up loosing one. This has a very heavy base and was stationary in our yard, no reason for the screws to just fall off with simple opening and shutting the umbrella. It has a design flaw and now we have a crooked umbrella :( 2
