JÄTTEBO modular sofa has a simple shape with clean lines and is soft, comfortable – and practical with storage under the seat.
The modules can be combined as you like, create a large or small sofa that suits you perfectly - and add more parts when your needs change.
Feel free to combine the sofa with more seat and chaise lounge modules, armrests and headrests. Use the planning tool to put the modules together in different ways until the combination feels right.
The modules have a soft comfort with high-resilience foam and pocket springs that follow your body and provide support – whether you are sitting, lying down or hanging out on the sofa.
The deep and even seats make JÄTTEBO very comfortable to lie on when reading a good book or enjoying a nap.
In the generous storage space under the seat in the chaise lounge and seat modules, you can store things like throws, games and boxes with small items.
Gas spring dampers ensure that the seat opens and closes softly and smoothly. It also automatically stays in the open position so you can easily pick out and put back what you store.
You can quickly and easily move your modules without tools. Just open the storage to remove the mounting brackets, rearrange the modules and then fix the brackets back in place.
The modules look equally nice from all sides so you can place your sofa along the wall or in the middle of the room.
This cover is made of Tonerud, a soft polyester fabric with a felt look and a two-toned melange effect.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.

This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. Not a fan. Seriously, if you're thinking about buying it, hold up and hear me out.BruceFirst off, it's just plain uncomfortable. Movie nights? Forget it. After half an hour, I'm constantly trying to get comfortable. it's just not a cozy sofa. For what you pay, the quality seems off. It's affordable, but this feels cheap, not just budget-friendly. The fabric already looks worn out after a year, and I'm always worried about ripping it or getting it dirty.
And the design...the back's too low, the armrests are too high, the seat's weirdly deep, and the headrests(at an additional cost) are only useful if the sofa back is against the wall. All these little things make it really uncomfortable and not that useful.
Swapped out my old sofa (KIVIK) for this, and it was a mistake. My living room's less relaxing now, more of a pain.
This is one IKEA thing I totally regret, and I'm getting rid of it ASAP.3
Really liking this sofaJarrodBought this for my 700 sqft apt and it's awesome. The green color and texture of the couch are great statements; love the deep cushion. I have already napped on it twice since the cushions have a very comfy amount of firmness, as someone who prefers medium-firm. Have gotten a lot of compliments on the look. I have seen others say that the low back isn't the most comfortable, but for me personally I think just sitting against a pillow does fine. Perhaps if you have taller proportions this could be an issue. No problems with the fit of the removable covers; everything is very snug. Modular couch as well so great for changing it up down the road. Great quality sofa $$.5

So comfortableHannahSo comfortable. Love the deep, extra-wide seats. Was nervous the backrest would be too low, but I think it's the perfect height. The material of the cover (beige) feels soft but durable. Easy enough to put together. The hardest part was getting the covers on. Only negative thing I have to say is that I saw this couch on here probably the first day it came onto the website and I immediately wanted it. I took the night to think about it before purchasing and when I woke up and decided to order, the price had increased by at least $200. Still purchased and thankfully, it was worth it, but still annoyed about that.5
