JÄTTEBO modular sofa has a simple shape with clean lines and is soft, comfortable – and practical with storage under the seat.

The modules can be combined as you like, create a large or small sofa that suits you perfectly - and add more parts when your needs change.

Feel free to combine the sofa with more seat and chaise lounge modules, armrests and headrests. Use the planning tool to put the modules together in different ways until the combination feels right.

The modules have a soft comfort with high-resilience foam and pocket springs that follow your body and provide support – whether you are sitting, lying down or hanging out on the sofa.

The deep and even seats make JÄTTEBO very comfortable to lie on when reading a good book or enjoying a nap.

In the generous storage space under the seat in the chaise lounge and seat modules, you can store things like throws, games and boxes with small items.

Gas spring dampers ensure that the seat opens and closes softly and smoothly. It also automatically stays in the open position so you can easily pick out and put back what you store.

You can quickly and easily move your modules without tools. Just open the storage to remove the mounting brackets, rearrange the modules and then fix the brackets back in place.

The modules look equally nice from all sides so you can place your sofa along the wall or in the middle of the room.

This cover is made of Tonerud, a soft polyester fabric with a felt look and a two-toned melange effect.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

  • The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 242 lbs.

amazing sofaRosei’ve had this sofa for almost two years now and am so happy I bought it. it’s very comfortable, especially with the additional pillows you can use to increase the height of the back. I think this sofa is best for entertaining—the short back and deep seats make it good to perch on and have a conversation. one of my friends calls it the “conversation couch.” I’ve also had lots of friends sleep on it, and even though it’s not a pull-out sofa, they all have said it’s very comfortable. I’ve also slept on it several times. Living in a small one-bedroom apartment, I also love the storage spaces in the couch, and this is the main reason why I bought the ikea version rather than a dupe. When one of the brackets on the sections stopped closing correctly, ikea provided a replacement section quickly and easily.5

I've had the couch for a few months, and the backrest foam has shifted considerably from leaning on it during regular use. I'd expect much better quality at this price point, as it's one of IKEA's most expensive couches. What I do like is the storage capabilities and the style of the couch, but I'm sad to say that it is the last couch I will purchase from IKEA due to this experience. 2
Great couch for small apartment!MeganI bought this couch about a month ago for my studio apartment. It looks amazing! I love the green color and the aesthetics. But it's also really comfy. I have fallen asleep on it multiple times. The storage is great, especially for tiny spaces. It surprisingly fits a lot. It also held up well so far to my dog jumping on and off of it. 5
Ridiculously comfy MoThis is the most comfortable couch I’ve ever owned!! It’s a huge plus that the seats fold up and there’s storage underneath. Be warned: the boxes it comes in are huge. However, I’m grateful that I didn’t have to put together hinges or anything. It was crazy easy to assemble.5
