Great couch, with a few complaints SierraWe have had this couch for about a year now (sectional) and we really do love it! The couch is very comfortable and it’s big enough to sleep 2 adults if we have guests.
However the biggest complaint I have about it is that it’s such a pain in the butt to clean and keep clean. In order to vacuum underneath you have to take apart the whole thing, and the pieces are quite heavy to move. If you want to just vacuum inside the couch, same thing, in order to do it effectively you have to take apart the entire seat and it’s just really annoying. The covers are a bit hard to take off as well… the actual seat cushions aren’t too bad, it’s the back cushions that you have to disassemble the seat to get off.
Also, in hindsight, if it’s a couch you’ll be sitting on a lot, maybe rotate the seats every now and then. The cushion we sit on most of the time is definitely not as plush as it used to be.

idc i've only had it for 2 months but i love it smAnonymousi have a corner jattebo couch that's made of 2x1.5seat+2x1 seat. i love my couch so much. it's super comfy and cute. assembly was straightforward and easy af with 2 people (i did not even steam the covers as instructed, they fit well and there were no creases or whatever once they were on). i haven't washed the covers yet but i've spot cleaned it many times (i have a cat, iykyk) and it cleans very well. i also know for a fact that my cat occasionally uses the side as a scratching post but you cannot tell at all. it's super unbelievable to me that a dent would develop within one week of owning this couch as a previous commenter mentioned like i know you got no reason to lie about it but ???? i guess i'm sorry that was your experience. final note - don't leave small electronics on the couch if you regularly access the storage underneath - my kindle slipped behind and got completely destroyed when i closed the top. rip hope the jattebo gods appreciated my sacrifice :(
Almost impossible to remove coversHannahI purchased this sofa because I thought I’d be able to take off the covers every now and then and throw them in the wash. The way this sofa has been designed makes it almost impossible and backbreaking to disassemble all my sofa units to get the covers off. The materials used for the metal fasteners that you pop into the plastic holes to keep the units together do not budge at all. I’ve strategically snipped around these fasteners to try and make it easier, but it is still a herculean process. I specifically need to wash the bottom parts because my dog has peed on them. I am very annoyed.
Otherwise I have been pretty satisfied with the sofa. I enjoy the green color, and I love taking naps on it. Disappointed that one of the major selling points for me is pretty much useless.

The GreatestMikeI waited to submit this review because I didn’t want even more competition trying to secure this high-demand sofa! So comfortable, good looking, and the storage is a fun bonus. The perfect balance of firm and plush, and it’s got a deep seat that is nice to cuddle up on. Added bonus? Little assembly required! The best IKEA sofa I’ve had, and I’ve had many!
