    Think TwiceJessicaAssembling these units took literal years off my life. I have assembled many Ikea pieces and had limited issues; this was not the case with this unit. The side units are a pain to put together as nothing lines up super well; questioning how sturdy these shelfs will be over the long term as well. You have to use so much force to assemble this, you are lucky if the wood doesn't chip somewhere along the line. Super annoying that there are no holes for the cross bars as well. For how big of a pain these are to put together, the quality does not feel worth it. I am returning the rest; absolutely cannot be bothered to assemble anymore of these.1

They also smell like fresh pine trees, especially for the first few years. I have several IVAR units, and use them for books and all of my storage needs. 5
