stops working every dayShawnOn a daily basis, the plug just forgets how to work. You have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it working again, which is inconvenient when it is, for example, behind a couch. When it's not working, there is no light, the button does nothing, and it will not respond to commands via any method. Also, while you can use them with zigbee, the power monitoring ONLY works with the branded hub.1
Great Smart Plug that works with Home AssistantJoeyFor the price, you can't beat this Smart Plug. If you are running Home Assistant with a Zigbee coordinator (antenna) such as the ZBT-1 (SkyConnect) or something similar, then this is the Smart Plug for you. To setup, just hit the little button to pair and tell ZHA in Home Assistant to pair as well. In my case it found it with in seconds, and I was able set set up automations and since it monitors voltage and watts usage, I'm able to setup graphs. I use it to turn on a fan in my bedroom, and I have it also turn on my 3D printer. I have a few others doing other tasks. They are great for turning dumb lights into smart lights. I think I need a few more! LOL5
works as expectedMathewPaired it with the IKEA smart hub and integrated it with Homekit and it works perfectly. We use it to turn on a basement light. The energy monitoring is a plus. Kinda wish IKEA would show the North American plug in the App instead of the European image.5
