Good to know

Fits all our extendable beds.

We recommend LEN fitted sheets made of cotton jersey for your child’s mattress.

Wash the cover inside out with the zipper closed.

The short pieces are easily added to the foot of the bed as your child grows.

This mattress consists of 3 pieces and all come together in the same package.

The extension parts of the mattress do not have springs since it is primarily shoulders and hips that need pressure relief, not legs.

LEN fitted sheet is available in 2 sizes: One fits a mattress for an extendable bed without extension parts (38¼x47") and one fits a mattress for an extendable bed with 1 extension part (38¼x61").

Too thin for IKEA bed slatsSanThe Innerlig mattress for small children is too thin to be used with Luroy bed slats because Luroy slats bow in the middle. Toddlers and young kids just roll to the sides. "My bed has holes in it" is the feedback I got. Do you small child a favor and just get a twin bed and a thicker mattress than innerlig. A thick mattress pad on the floor is more comfortable than a thin mattress on bowing hard wood slats.1

Very ThinYvetteVery thin. I guess I expected the spring mattress to be a little thicker or stronger. Which is why we chose the spring over foam. Wish it had some more cushion on top. I do however like the size options. Multiple extensions allow us to leave more room for play in my sons room. And the bed can grow with him. 3
Not a good mattress. But it’s the only one that works for a the toddler size part of the bed. IlseFor the prize is very uncomfortable and hard. It also doesn’t fit appropriately on the twin bed that extends for toddlers. The mattress sinks on the sides. 1
No mattress covers?MeganThe mattress itself is fine, and I like the option to extend. However, it seems that there is not a waterproof mattress pad available for this mattress except for in the longest length. With toddlers, this is a critical piece of bedding and badly needed for the 47" and 61" length mattress! I can only find covers that length in the 28" width at Ikea, which do not fit this 38" wide mattress.3

Fits our needs.CarrieI read all the reviews and decided to give it a try. We love it. I did add a twin foam topper from target. It helps so my daughter doesn’t feel the seams between the additional mattress pieces. Very comfortable! We added two of mattress pieces together and kept the third one as a “headboard”. My daughter moves around a lot and sometimes pushes her self against her metal bed frame. It is very helpful. I love that the mattress will grow with her.5

I use this as a topper for a single bed fold out chair that is like a rock to sleep on for guests. I like how it is in 3 pieces which helps with storage when not in use .

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

The longer part of this three-piece, 4¾" thick mattress consists of flexible springs enclosed with soft foam. The construction means that the mattress keeps its shape longer, allows air to circulate and provides comfortable support for your child. The two short parts consist of pressure relieving foam. The outer cover can be removed and machine washed at 140°F (Hot).
