Perfect pillowCharlieJust the right amount of fill and it is so soft.
Inadequate Loft and DensityStuartAll the Ikea synthetic inners are inadequate, which means you need to use two inners for each cover, but two create too much loft and density. Given the option, two are better than one, but a reasonable product would have around 1.5 times the loft and density of the Ikea Inner. This could be a good product with more fill, but considering that a single inner is not even sufficient to hold a pillow upright, it has the feel of Ikea just going for the cheap.
ThinnerCarlinThis pillow has less fill than last time I bought it. It used to be $3. Now it’s more expensive and less fill. Good if you want a flat pillow for the car or I use them to sleep on.

DisappointingLaurieHave previously purchased, so have some comparison. And should have "listened" to other reviews. New product is "shrunk" and thin. Used dryer air fluff to bring it back to life, but didn't really make any difference. Current pricing makes this a poor choice.

Puffy but absolutely not firmC.You have to maul and pull and punch and manhandle this insert and let it sit awhile to get it to fluff up to size, but it in no way has enough stuffing to be considered "firm." It flattens right down to nothing if you lean on it. If you don't expect anyone to lean an arm or back on your pillow, it'll be fine.

:(Rthese pillow inserts were so sad and flat. i thought part of it was due to how they were packaged (rolled tight and plastic wrapped) so i left them out of the cover i bought to see if they’d regain their shape and fluff, but no luck. i was able to fit two of these into a 20x20 cover without a struggle. i’ve purchased other inner pillow inserts before and felt great about them- they were nice and full and haven’t gone flat in the four years since i bought them- even with heavy daily use! it was a real disappointment to get these ones and not have the same experience or have the same quality i’ve come to expect from ikea products.
Not firm, doesn’t fill insert ChristinaSuch a let down. Don’t fill the 19x19 cover we have. I’d have to use two in one cover to have it be somewhat filled. Will be retuning.
Don't BotherNichelleinner cushion is too small for the available covers; inner cushion does not have much cushion at all; pillow looked very flat and weak once the cover was put on. I love the cover and it's very good quality; well made.
