Really cheapTobiasI don't trust the power cord clip on the hook. This is a cheap design and expect it will fail. Likely worst case will short because there is constant tension on the power cord and even worse through a plastic clip. Getting the bulb in is a pain unless you undo your fixture from the cord each time. The plate and hook did not fit my standard box. The whole pattern is way too big. So you have to either rig it or buy something else. Very disappointing product. Even with a bright bulb it is quite dim. I would not recommend this product. I give 2 stars for the novelty, but quality is not good.
StunningBarbaraBeautiful and functional lamp for dining, to create different moods. Easy and fun to assemble. Clear instructions. One star off, as others have noted, due to the very flimsy cup at the top. We solved the issue by adding a simple ceiling plate to balance the pendant and help support the cup.

I'd have given it five stars but the base/cup portion where it meets the ceiling is kinda flimsy and it could really use *something* to cover the base of the socket the bulb goes in a little better.
Otherwise? This is a perfect piece of lighting.
I do recommend a 12W (100 watt equivalent) just because there are so many panels that it can be a bit dim otherwise. And the "corn cob" style LED bulbs create this striation / grid pattern that... I'll post a picture if I can - it's super cool.

If you've come this far: just do it. You won't be disappointed.
Elegant lampJacobI've bought this lamp before and decided to buy another. It was very easy to assemble, I like the craftsmanship and the quality of the lamp and it looks so good.
Beautiful ErnestoI have loved this light since I first saw it years ago at ikea. I finally purchased one for my dinning room and it looks awesome. I went with the suggested E26 850 liminance wich which looks great but it's more of a mood light. I will be going with the E 1100 lumenance dimmable bulb so I can control it through my hub.

Pretty but fragileRalfMy son loves this, so it’s great. However, you better be careful when putting this together. If you drop it like I did the plastic petals can easily break off. I had to glue one back in position.

My Favorite Lamp Ever!Anonymous reviewerAbsolutely stunning! The small plastic cup on top didn't completely cover the hole/ceiling damage from the previous fixture. We decided to add a very simple plastic medallion. It covered the hole and damage and really added a nice touch. The lamp itself took me about 20 minutes to snap all the pieces together. It was very easy and fun! The instructions had clear illustrations to follow. The pull cord that open and closes the shade is a bit stiff/hard to pull but I think it will loosen over time. It does work well though. It casts a beautiful warm glow over the
room. We got the white with copper color inside. Just finished putting it up today and could not be happier.
QualityShaneI had these light in the larger version 4 years ago. Since they changed the manufacturing. The plastic is very brittle. I opened the box and three parts had the plastic broken. I went to try and put the rest together and planned on crazy glueing the broken parts. It was breaking as we put it together. I am starting to wonder if we got a light from a bad batch or if they are all this way. Incredibly brittle plastic on the hook parts of each section.

Putting it together was easier than I thought it would be. Once I figured out the wiring in our ceiling, connecting the lamp was easy.
Everything literally snaps together! The most difficult piece was the last. I put it together while it was closed, I should have opened it to attach the last piece.
Wiring: 1 hour (most of that was me learning how our wiring was configured).
Piecing together: 30 minutes.

First time buyer from IkeaDeannaThis was my first purchase ever from Ikea and it won't be my last. I purchased two of these lights and they are perfect for my home. The pictures on the site are just as displayed and both lights go perfect in my kitchen.
VERY DIM... I say again VERY DIMGregorymy wife bought me this light for my comic book room..the light looks great but does not light the room at all. it is better suited as a night light. When installing I had to cut the cord so it did not hang too low. so now to see if I can return this large very expensive night light.
