Good Value but Same Issue as All Can OpenersRosemaryI always keep a couple of manual openers available because if there is a storm that knocks out the electricity (common here) we can open a can. My only complaint is that there is not a can opener out there at any price that doesn't get rusty. This can only be because of the quality of the stainless steel. I don't fault Ikea if this is all that is available, but there is a can opener in my family from...1948! And it never rusted at all. Still have it.

Rusty bolt!LoriI am surprised that with just ordinary use of this can opener, the bolt (axis) that holds the blade has rusted. I worry that this rust could contaminate food. I expect Ikea to use safer materials!
