Very high quality feldspar porcelain, I think it's also vitrifiedYvetteThis is an excellent mug, very high quality!! It's porcelain, which is the best ceramic available, hence why kitchen & bathroom fixtures are made from it because it's that strong. Plus this is a higher grade of porcelain being that it's feldspar. I think it's vitrified, too, because the glaze is very well done without any pinholes or defects. I got this to use as my little container for holding the used tea bags & green onion trimmings & such, until I take it out to the compost pile. I prefer small batches like that instead of a bigger compost batch. I had been using the same mug but in the tempered glass, & whereas I love the aesthetic of the glass mugs, I just didn't like seeing the teabags in them. So these porcelain ones R PERFECT for me!! I bought two, to have a spare, as I did w/ the glass ones, & the extras are wonderful 4 condiment serving!!! The smaller glass one is also good as a flour, etc. scoop -who knew?! These R EXCELLENT mugs & I highly, highly recommend!!!5

I like the size and design. straight up clean white, flat and stable when set on anything so it won't topple over. I also noticed it doesn't easily stain from coffee or tea

Just what I've been looking for. Holds a little more than most cups, fits in my cupwarmer, and the cup is porcelain, not ceramic, which helps the flavour of my tea.
