Excellent product and valueJohnI have the rectangular one which is perfect for fitting over small casserole dishes. I'm trying to stop using so much aluminum foil and plastic wrap, and this lid goes a long way towards that goal. I do hope that IKEA will someday sell slightly larger ones.
MAGICMarcyThis lid is pure magic genius. We have a big rectangular plastic container from IKEA to hold our compost that we used one of the bamboo lids with because it looked nice. It was hard to get on and off and grew black mold so I was looking for a different lid. I didn't understand how this smooth lid would stay on, but it does and it's genius! I love it so much. Plus it's super easy to peel up the corner to add something to the compost now.

Just what I wanted!AnneThe bamboo cover fits snugly on the glass container and a family member with hand problems finds it easier to open than the flaps that were on the cover I originally purchased.
Very secure lidMarieI buy these lid for any bottom they fit becacuse they are very secure.
Slides off a bit much....Lionel....and not sure why people write that it "seals". It does not. This lid is oversized and it slides all over the place. This is a temporary lid. Regret purchasing it.

Disappointed in lids and reviewsJasonIt is frustrating that reviews are not categorized by the lids associated with the container. The lid is key to function and more critical than the size. That said, the silicon lids DO NOT create a useful seal. The airtight fit is easily broken as the lid does not fit the dish, it only rests upon it. The seal is broken, picking it up or putting it next to anything. It is a silly design that is only functional as a splash guard in the microwave.

Neat Product RobertI use this product for something untraditional. I use it to cover my shower drain with a weight on top. It helps the drain trap not to dry out from water when not in use for long periods out of season.
As for what it was designed for, tried it in IKEA and it seams pretty neat to cover and seal bowls still holding food for refrigerated purposes. I will buy another and give it a shot for that purpose
So hooked on this style lid.MelissaI was using the click-on lids, they just feel safer from leaks. The gasket on this bamboo lid is awesome. It fits nice and smug and I do not worry about the container leaking if it tilts. Will be purchasing more of these.
Another failed lidLionelI purchased the plastic lids for the variant sized Ikea 365 glass containers I own. The plastic lids all failed at some point........broke at the bends. I replaced them with these wooden lids. Even worse, as they slowly pop-up and don't keep the seal. Only way to keep the wood lid on the container is by putting something heavier on top. Ikea doesn't refund any of these lids.
