Sad these are going away -- I stocked upScottPeople are always impressed at just how well these work on the glass containers. You can easily lift up the glass holding just the nib in the middle of the lid; the seal is that good.
Though the real magic of these is when you *don't* need the full seal, but do want the lid. For the oven and microwave these are wonderful.
(For storage where you want to be certain of the seal, the snap lids are better, but the snap lids aren't oven-safe.)5

MAGICMarcyThis lid is pure magic genius. We have a big rectangular plastic container from IKEA to hold our compost that we used one of the bamboo lids with because it looked nice. It was hard to get on and off and grew black mold so I was looking for a different lid. I didn't understand how this smooth lid would stay on, but it does and it's genius! I love it so much. Plus it's super easy to peel up the corner to add something to the compost now.5

Lids not fitting the round containersSuvrataI bought two of these lids a qweek back with 2 round glass containers but they are loose, they do not fit the containers tight leading to spilling of food. They just come off. Very disappointed, these have made the containers non usable.1

Love the Wood TopPatBought these for storage jars purchased at Target that didn't come with silicone gaskets that keep the tops from sliding off. These are really nice wood with silicone attached. They will certainly keep what's stored in it fresh and won't slid off.5
