Sad these are going away -- I stocked upScottPeople are always impressed at just how well these work on the glass containers. You can easily lift up the glass holding just the nib in the middle of the lid; the seal is that good.
Though the real magic of these is when you *don't* need the full seal, but do want the lid. For the oven and microwave these are wonderful.
(For storage where you want to be certain of the seal, the snap lids are better, but the snap lids aren't oven-safe.)

Excellent product and valueAnonymous reviewerI have the rectangular one which is perfect for fitting over small casserole dishes. I'm trying to stop using so much aluminum foil and plastic wrap, and this lid goes a long way towards that goal. I do hope that IKEA will someday sell slightly larger ones.
MAGICMarcyThis lid is pure magic genius. We have a big rectangular plastic container from IKEA to hold our compost that we used one of the bamboo lids with because it looked nice. It was hard to get on and off and grew black mold so I was looking for a different lid. I didn't understand how this smooth lid would stay on, but it does and it's genius! I love it so much. Plus it's super easy to peel up the corner to add something to the compost now.

The only lid in stock! SandraI prefer the bamboo lids but this is all they had in stock. Tabs can break off (check them before you buy) and I avoid plastic food storage.

Modular and versatile.GraceSomething Ikea is well known for: Mix and match. Having purchased cutting boards to go with glass containers I forgot to get a lid as well, so now I have all components to go with this particular dimension. The locking flaps are secure so coupled with the glass bottoms these are fairly leak proof.
Great FitTeresaThese snap lids are better than the rubberized 'O' ring and glass lid style. When 'O' rings are chilled in the fridge, they seem to shrink.

Unclear what chemicals in hereDerekThe lid comes with a scary chemical warning. It's not clear if the chemicals are in the product itself, or only in the packaging. Doesn't seem food safe.
