Works well in conceptGarnerThe original lids were constructed of thicker material. The latest lids the thickness was reduced 40%. They are prone to warping after several uses and become unusable. If the lids were constructed with cross laminated bamboo ply, it would most likely resolve the warping issue. The warping always happens parallel to the bamboo ply lines. If the lids don’t warp they work and look great, however warping lids are a major design flaw.
Good in theoryNancyDidn’t work in practice. The wooden lid isn't dishwasher friendly and the seal needs to be removed to get clean.
Does not sealMikeI was excited to have this sustainable material choice for the glass containers, but, these lids DO NOT WORK. In both room temperature and in the fridge, once closed onto the container they slowly (or quickly) shift upward and lose their seal. Only by placing something heavy on top of them do they stay closed. I had to go back and buy the plastic snap on lids for my new containers because these bamboo ones are useless, and now a WASTE or what was supposed to be sustainable resources.
Simple, doesn't breakBrianHad to replace the brittle plastic hinge covers that were breaking after about a year or so. Hopefully this will last longer, and be more environmentally friendly.
Only downside is that it's not microwave save.
Warped after two usesAnthonyI got two of these lids less than a week ago and both have warped. They looked great and I was happy to switch over to something non-plastic, but oh well.
WarpedJasonThese lids are garbage. Within a few weeks every lid I bought had warped and would not seal to the containers. Don't waste your money!
Not air tightCatieThe lid isn't tight enough to make it air tight for food storage. The product also contains carcinogens....not how I'd like to store food. Should have researched the materials better before purchasing.

Replacement LidLauraThis is a replacement lid for one that broke. I suppose it works great, just like the others I have.
The only lid in stock! SandraI prefer the bamboo lids but this is all they had in stock. Tabs can break off (check them before you buy) and I avoid plastic food storage.

Lids not fitting the round containersSuvrataI bought two of these lids a qweek back with 2 round glass containers but they are loose, they do not fit the containers tight leading to spilling of food. They just come off. Very disappointed, these have made the containers non usable.
Loving itJanelleI purchased this as a container that my mom could put on her coffee table to store her little chocolates. It was a nice surprise with how sturdy and tight fitting the lid is. I will definitely purchase this again.
Best storage everSherylI buy things from ikea when I am close to a store. We don't have one in Alaska. I bring suitcases to carry what I buy as your shipping rates are outrageous. But I still like the products
Love the Wood TopPatBought these for storage jars purchased at Target that didn't come with silicone gaskets that keep the tops from sliding off. These are really nice wood with silicone attached. They will certainly keep what's stored in it fresh and won't slid off.
