Broken after a few weeks BethI’m very sorry that I wasted my money on this lid and container. The glass container is great and I have no complaints, but one of the flaps on the lid has broken off after just 3 uses. It was only washed by hand so it is just a very poor product.
IKEA you need to design and manufacture a better lid!

Breaks very easilyPriyaThe lids are terrible quality and you have to be very careful or the clasps with break off. I lost one lid after the first use, another after a couple of uses.
Almost perfect sealChuDepending on which container the lid is used on, the seal may not be 100% leakproof. Liquid will eventually work its way out.
Works as expectedBrentThe lid snaps on easily and seals well. Our only complaint is that the IKEA price sticker made a mess when peeling it off. We had to put alcohol on the top of the lid and let it sit for a while to remove all the adhesive.

Temporary lids. The flaps break off after using only a few times.CarrieThe flaps break off after using a few times. We only use them to seal and are disappointed they break so easily. Returned and trying the wooden lids (at 5x the price) in hopes they last a few years instead of a few weeks.
Extra for replacementsGraceHaving standard sizes for the various sizes of the bottom units is a bonus. It is nice to have the option of purchasing tops or bottoms separately depending on what needs to be replaced.

I love this product but the customer service and for this problem is beyond frustrating.

Bent out of shapePayalAfter wash in dishwasher, it came out dome shaped. Now it doesn't lock . Last few that I bought were good and still work fine after many many cycles in dishwasher.
