For garlic and shallotsYvetteI have two of the larger version of this bin, with the wood handle, and I used one each for a long time to store potatoes and onions, but then I ended up switching to different bins to better fit my cabinets (still use the originals for other things, of course). Anyway, this little bin fits well in my new onion storage bin, and I love it for garlic and shallots, as opposed to just storing them in a muslin bag, say, because this bin gives open access and it's easy to clean when needed, it's just perfect for this purpose!!! If you have a big family, the loaf shaped mesh bin like this one would be excellent for the same purpose, or just for separating white and purple onions, gold and red potatoes, etc. This little bin is so simple, but so very useful and I highly recommend!!5

Where's the lid?DikshaFor some reason Ikea does not sell the lid in the US but it does in other countries. I don't want to return these but they've been rendered absolutely useless as a result. 1

Great basket; Where's the lid? BrianGreat basket and I even own the smaller sibling. However, they don't include a top. On the website, there are two pictures that clearly shows there is a matching lid. It's not available though. I've tried asking chat and they say the picture is "The images shown is for the advertisement. That particular basket does not comes with the lid that is shown in the picture." Hopefully someone will read this review and either take down the picture with lids or better yet, start selling the correct lid. 3
Where’s lid?ChristinaLove this bin but I see it is advertised with a lid; however, there is no option or lid available in the the size of this bin? Is it that it is too new that it doesn’t have a lid yet? I’d love to know how to order them! Perfect size for storing potato’s and onions. Just need lid so that’s why 3 stars, would have given 5 stars if I could have ordered the lid 3
