Favorite coastersErichThese rock, love the lip on them. Buy them every time I’m at ikea because my dogs also enjoy destroying them. Dual purpose? Dual benefit? Not intended surely but hey we’re here for a good time not a long one hopefully.

Practical coastersAnnCork is thicker than the flat ones & keeps liquids off my walnut tables. Also strong enough to use under small planters & gives it a bit of elevation, which has an interesting look. Love these - so practical & inexpensive!

What is cork?
Cork comes from cork oak bark which is carefully cut from the tree’s trunk. It then takes about nine years until the tree forms new bark that can be harvested. Since a cork oak can live to be aged 150-200, each one produces a lot of cork during its lifetime. Cork has several good qualities as a material: it’s lightweight, flexible, waterproof and naturally resists fire. We use it in furniture and accessories.
