Useful and attractiveVirginiaI have several of these around the house, very useful for covering bare areas, especially in winter. The rug does, indeed, have a front and back. The hems turned under four sides keep it in place well. I have one in the bathroom too. It's not soft, like a bath mat, but makes a nice daily floor covering. I just wish it came in additional colors.

Whatever backing this has, does NOT keep it firmly in place. I really like the look of this mat, but it slides all over the place. I guess I'll put a carpet grabber underneath and hope it helps.
