Some Quality IssuesCesarI had the desk top for a couple of months before deciding to make the switch to the standing setup. Overall quality seems okay so far but the button is very cheap plastic and at times the desk “stutters” as it moves up or down unless I press extra firm. Probably not good for the motor. Other issue was on initial connection the desk did not want to move. I had to unplug and check all the connection points. I assumed I had made a mistake or did not plug in fully but everything was clicked into place so not a good sign in terms of cable stability. Hoping this was a fluke and no further issues are encountered. One of the screw points on the desk broke luckily I was able to “fix” it by hammering it back in and screwing it back in very slowly but if I ever have to move it will likely break. All that being said it does the job now. And I guess it’s a plus that you can replace the top and also change sizes.3
Sturdy, Reliable, FunctionalAnonymous reviewerI've had this set of desk legs for around 5-6 years now and it's a 9.5/10 product in the category of electric sit/stand desk frames. I had two requirements when I was trying to figure out if this would work for me: 1) I'm short (5'4"), so for me to be able to achieve ideal desk ergonomics (feet flat on the floor, elbows bent at 90° while typing), it needs to go very low. 2) At standing height, it needs to have as little wobble as possible. I use a monitor on an extending arm, so that already introduces wobble with the slightest movement of the desk. Unstable legs amplify that issue. This frame meets my needs for both of those. It goes down to 22.5" from the floor and is incredibly stable even at its highest setting. I have around 120 pounds between the desktop and the stuff on it, and the motor handles it well. My only gripe is that it doesn't have buttons to automatically go to certain heights, but that's certainly not necessary and it does the important things perfectly.5
Great standing deskHowardThis is my 2nd desk that I purchased for the basement as I work from home and needing a 2nd desk for the basement; 1st one is used in my den.5
Better than I expected!!!KevinThis works great and I have high confidence it will cycle for many years!! I work from home and I raise/lower it it several times per day. It is quiet, and the speed is good. It is slower with a load, but not by too much. I highly recommend this!! (Plus a great 10 yr warranty)5
It's a great product. LoveRobertIt's a great product. Love the adjustable height.5
I needed a desk whereBarbaraI needed a desk where I could sit or stand while working. so I purchased the the combo unit that you can adjust the height. It's very sturdy due to the base configuration and the size is perfect. Task Rabbit did the assembly and it took about an hour.5
Earlier version still going strongAnonymous reviewerI purchased an earlier version of IDÅSEN in 2020 and it is still going strong. I purchased a solid bamboo tabletop elsewhere by drilling holes (not all the way through of course!) and placed threaded inserts into it that matched the IDÅSEN. I also added threaded inserts for Ikea's cable tray and some PDUs. I went this route since Ikea had no tabletops in stock. I have a 48" OLED on it for my computer monitor along with some 6" external speakers. I use an Alex drawer unit next to it to hold my PC. I use this desk daily. If I could add pictures, I would.5
Nicely made baseToddI only had one issue, but that was with the top selection. This only (currently) works with two sizes of top. Some of the wording made it sound like it worked with any sized Idasen top between the smaller and larger options, but that isn't the case there aren't predrilled holes on anything but the two. The legs are nice, they do make a little more noise when running than the other one at IKEA I was looking at but I like the look and weight of these a lot. Will recommend these to any one.5
The top is out of stock stillJenniferThis isn't a fair review. I haven't gotten to use this yet because the tops are still out of stock. I can't say if it is good or not, but at this point, not knowing if the top will ever be available, I'm going to have to return this and go after a different product from a different store. I would not recommend purchasing.1
Standing table legs work for our table tooGraceLooks and feels very sturdy. We use our existing table top 60”x24” to fit our space better. Works great except the base is 27”. The legs is a bit deeper than our table top but we are ok with it. The base is a bit pricey.5
Impressed!KellyBest decision ever! Have used a manual lift desk for years. This is a game changer!! Was able to add this to an existing desk (to keep my custom office furniture matching). Easy to install, works beautifully! I shift several times throughout the day. No issues!5
Great stand up desk baseIlanaThis desk base is very sturdy! We put a large 72 inch desk top on it and it does the trick we were hoping for. Sit down or stand up...modern and easy to use5
Best stand-up desk design.TulgaEvent though it was a bit pricey, I love the quality and warranty comes with it. Solid product.5
Expensive, but very sturdyAnonymousI bought this frame about a few weeks ago as I have been working from home more often during this pandemic crisis. It's a very sturdy frame I must say. The table top designed for this frame was a bit too expensive ($150), so I tried to install cheaper options like LINNMON from IKEA, but without pre-drilled holes available and the material being different, I figured it's not worth going with the cheaper table tops. Together with the table top designed for this frame, the whole standing desk feels really nice. Almost minimal wobbliness when I'm (220lbs) leaning on the table. The frame moves up and down pretty smoothly and quietly. The position change button has a bluetooth feature, so you can control the desk from your mobile device, and also set favorite/memory heights as well. I think there were only two options available for the table top, so that was kind of disappointing, and the price point was a bit high. But quality-wise, so far I've been very satisfied with the desk and been enjoying using it a lot. Assembly was pretty straight forward, although the frame was quite heavy for even a grown-up man, so you most likely need a second-hand to help with the assembly/move. I'm 6'3 and this desk fits my need perfectly.5
Desk won’t go downAnonymousI just bought this desk today and when i saw it in store i thought that it would be nice because it was long and length. i love the size of it but the legs just wouldn’t go down after it went up. the only way it would go down is through the phone but it would only work sometimes because it would say error 60. i would rate it a five star if it was actually working how it did at ikea.1
Love these. Great valueAnonymous reviewerWe now have five of these in our office and we all love them. We love how high and how low these desks go. Fits every shape and size.4
Rock Solid!DavidI've had this for a few weeks now and it is the most rock solid sit/stand desk frame I have ever worked with! No shaking or swaying even at full height. I mounted it to a 48x30 laminated counter top and it's the perfect working surface. I'm standing about half of my work day already! There's also an iPhone app that can control it via bluetooth, set favorite heights, and remind you when it it's time to stand. Search for Linak in the app store.5

What is steel?

Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
