Poor Instructions/ doors difficult to click on latch JacquelineAlthough I am quite handy and love the look of this product, I hit a "wall" when I attempted to click the individual doors to the latch. I am quite disappointed!!
Awesome CabinetAnonymous reviewerI saw this cabinet and knew I had to get it - I did not really have a plan of how I was going to use it, but I felt confident that I would.
It looks like a locker and that is pretty much what it is, except that it is 3 lockers and a file drawer. The hardware is typical Ikea - cool and solid.
The big thing is that this cabinet can store a ton of items. I ended up getting a second one since the first one worked out so well.
The cabinet is kind of stealthy in that it will blend in with any decor and do its job of giving you a large amount of storage wherever you want it.
I am now tempted to try out some of the other pieces in this line.
Junky quality for assembly purposesMarkDown to a 1 star due to the poor quality regarding assembly. Screws that are not fitted properly and of such poor quality they practically melt when you try to install them on angles no less. Not typical IKEA design standards. IKEA - do better! Considering this unit was over $350 you should be able to put this together in a reasonable way. Overpriced for the net result.
Vintage vibesAngelicaLove this storage unit! Used this for my son’s school books, sketch books, and drawing supplies. Contained the chaos with style and functionality. I did purchase from the as-is section so I cannot speak on assembly and the tabs on the front were already damaged from being in the show room but small fries for me, easy fix!

Assembly is pretty detailed, took over an hour but I am proud of the result.
One thing that you should know is that the doors can open to the left or right whatever is best for your space.
Great space saving unit.NadineI bought this along with the Idasen cabinet for my study. They are good heavy duty metal and my partner was able to assemble it for me. He said that the key is to go slow and follow the directions. He uses a sorter tray to keep screws and parts separated
Beautiful but doesn't fit file folders CarlyHas anyone been able to find file folders that fit the drawer portion? I've scoured the internet, and there are lots of people with my problem but no solution. It's such a great piece of furniture, but it seems crazy to sell a file cabinet that doesn't even fit file folders....
Its okDavidAssembly wasnt that bad like others say. Some parts were definitely annoying though. You need a long thin screwdriver and an electric screwdriver. Probably good to use your own allen key too since the one they provide is extremely small and thin. Still, with the above tools there were issues. I think its the bottom bracket thing for the bottom shelf. The left and right plastic things that enables you to detach it. Youre supposed to screw but its impossible to do it vertically so it goes it at an angle. Really strange one there. The other major issue is door alignment. I found it difficult to align them well so they open and close smoothly. The build quality is ok. Definitely doesnt give you a bulletproof feeling
Lovely locker unitLizAssembly was rough even with instructions. Many YouTube videos watched. The drawer and the cabinet doors were the most difficult. Very heavy unit too. Other than that the unit is cool looking, sturdy. It's a great color and holds the thinfs I want it to hold. It's a cool piece for my living room
Beautiful cabinet, a hassle to assembleBethThis cabinet is perfect for what I wanted it for -- a sturdy, slim unit for storing extra linens and other items in my bedroom. But it took 4+ hours to assemble due to the fiddly nature of many of the screws, the fact that it's metal (not as forgiving as guiding screws in to wood), and the fact they were hidden screws, so they were in corners/nooks where it's hard to get the right angle. Frankly I could not get the screws in to the bar sepearating the drawer and the bottom shelf, so I just left it off! I think if I'd had some longer/skinnier/pz screwdrivers, maybe it wouldn't have been so awful, but half of the assembly of this was trying to get the screws to line up. Not every person has had this issue, so maybe there are some quality control issues, but overall, I'm happy with the final product!

Upon having it set up, it looks great and holds a lot. So beyond happy with my purchase. Was a little nervous since a lot of reviews mentioned difficulties putting it together, but with 2 people, it really wasn't hard at all. I thought it was easier than some of Ikea's wooden items.

Top Tier StorageSI'm extremely satisfied with this locker storage. It's simple, solid, and sleek. Color is great, love the metal look mixed with the wood furniture I have, like that it's magnetic so I can put hooks on the outside for bags/hats/necklaces etc, and dig the rounded lines - they help soften a seemingly cold material. Unlike other reviewers, I had zero issues putting this together, everything fit like a dream. I did lay out all the parts, in order of assembly, to make sure I had everything I was supposed to and could easily follow the instructions as I got to each next step. That being said, the assembly instructions only show how to put the cabinet together where the doors open to the right so I did have to figure out how to assemble the doors to open to the left on my own. Pretty straightforward though and easily accomplished.
I also appreciate that this came flat packed in 2 boxes as opposed to 1. It's 76 pounds/34 kilos altogether so that made it easier to carry on my own.
Good Cabinet, Horrible AssemblySaraI have a lot of ikea and assemble yourself furniture, and this is the worst I have ever encountered. Overly complicated, screws didn't fit holes, needed drill for several spots, and confusing/incomplete instructions. And usually I like to assemble furniture! Worth it to get the task rabbit service. Would not buy again without.
Do not but unless you're an expert or using Task RabbitGerardineThis piece was a pain to put together in general, but the biggest issue is attaching the doors! I was able to attach the top hinges just fine but the bottom hinge takes so much energy and I'm STILL not able to attach them. The design for this feature is not streamlined at all! Also the instructions are confusing to follow, making the process of building this piece take so much longer.
The overall design of this cabinet is beautiful but putting it together may get you heated unless you're an expert or hire one to put it together.
