Plastic rivet anchors??LechThis would have been 5 stars had it not been for the plastic rivet anchors required for the cable management. For the money spent it would have been nice if those tooling fixtures were made of metal like everything else.3
Good desk, awful assembly instructionsSonaliBe warned that the assembly instructions are for two or three different versions of the desk, and there are parallel instructions on the same page! I was so confused until I figured this out and re-did the whole thing. Second time around was pretty easy and the desk works well and seems stable. Each part of the desk is super heavy however - be warned if you are trying to carrying it yourself!4
The best Standup Desk We FoundDanielAfter looking at many different desks at other depots and supplies, we chose this one for looks but most of all stability and quietness. 5
Great standing deskHowardThis is my 2nd desk that I purchased for the basement as I work from home and needing a 2nd desk for the basement; 1st one is used in my den.5
Great deskChristianThis desk is great and is simple to put together. I like its simple design. 5
Great deskBingLowest price on the market with app to control height I guess. Easy to use and control very sturdy5
Solid adjustable height deskJonathanI assembled the desk a few days ago after my move. There was only one time where I struggled to line up the holes for the screw to go in, but I swapped out the screw with another, and put in some extra elbow grease, and the desk was solid and stable. The wear from attempting to get the first screw in is of little concern. I believe the desktop is more your standard type of material from IKEA, so my assumption is that it'll be a little more vulnerable to scratching, but I take care of my stuff pretty well.
Adjusting the height is easy and smooth. The motor and adjustable legs were mostly pre-assembled, so I didn't need to worry about figuring out the wiring. The legs are heavy, with a decent span at their base, so even when the desk is at its tallest setting, it would take some effort to push it over.
While it's only been a few days, I can say that the IDÅSEN desk is a solid adjustable height desk, and I'd recommend it. I realize that the price of the desk has gone up quite a bit since it was first introduced, but as long as I take good care of it (particularly the desktop), I believe it will last for many years.5
Awesome deskThomasThis desk is convenient and easy to use for someone like me, because I’m physically challenged.5
The best desk at a reasonable priceChristineI looked around and found prices as high as $2100. This is a great desk at a great price.5
If you’re looking for aCerrinIf you’re looking for a simple sit/stand desk, this is exactly it. It works and looks exactly like how we wanted. We’ve been using it for about a month now, and there have been zero problems or complications.5
Excellent for Working from HomeCathyI am a teacher who walks (actually walked) around the classroom a lot. Teaching from home these past eight months has been horrible on my old bones and joints. Sitting for hours on end isn't good for anyone. This desk allows flexibility to sit or stand, or even to just quickly adjust my form with the touch of a button. Ikea also had adjustable desks with hand cranks, but the relatively little extra money for this model was well worth it, making adjustments on the fly a breeze. I love this desk. I got the smaller size and love that the frame can also be adjusted for the larger desk size when and if we move into another space. I also like the ten year warranty on the mechanical parts.5
Great sit/stand desk!AnonymousI recently purchased this desk. I was able to assemble the desk by myself in about 45 minutes. I had one hiccup assembling the legs and the desktop support frame. The desktop support frame can be adjusted to support both the 47 and 63 desktops. I initially setup the frame using the holes to support the larger desktop. I was able to easily correct my mistake. Once I had it assembled, I plugged in the power and everything worked as expected. If you are looking for a nice sit/stand desk, I can recommend this one without reservations.5
Great design!AnonymousEasier to adjust from sitting to standing than my desk at the office. Versatile design as I can purchase a new desk top for a larger workspace in the future!5
Best Desk EverJenniferI just started working from home and this desk is priceless. I can zoom up and down with a flick of a finger. The desktop is large and uncluttered. This modern piece has a classic look and fits in well with my antique furnishings.5
Love it!AnonymousLove this desk! It works beautifully, and looks great. The plug was missing when we got it home (we live over an hour from the store), and we had were told there were no replacement parts, so had to return to the store. Fortunately, the team members at the store were remarkable. They took care of us with a smile. I would recommend checking for the plug before you leave the store, and enjoy this beautiful piece.4
LOVEAnonymousAbsolutely love this table, bought all of the furniture for my studio at IKEA. Couldn’t be happier!!5
