color is just brown not dark brownDavidPay attention to the listing photos and you will see several color variants. The version I got was the brown brown not the dark brown almost black that matches other pieces with the “dark” brown finish. Low quality control. 2
Very poor hardware qualityTristanThis piece looks good but the assembly uses multiple white pegs that slide into pre cut sockets in the wood which work very poorly. You are required to fit multiple pieces together this way before you can add in any more durable hardware, so pieces keep sliding apart while you’re trying to put others in place. I’ll be surprised if this thing lasts long at all based on how poor the hardware is. Would not have bought this if I saw the instructions and what kind of assembly it used ahead of time.1
Most attractive thing from IKEAMaxEasily one of the best looking items from IKEA. Got it in dark brown. Only con is that the delivery didn’t come with an allen key so had to go buy one the right side. But still 5 stars5
No assembly instructions includedBrianI don't know if they forgot to include them but good luck trying to be efficient if you're trying to read part numbers from a PDF on a phone with a 5" inch screen. Returning a whole pile of Idanas stuff rather than tear open a bunch of boxes or gamble spending 90 minutes driving back and forth to a printer every time I open a dud1
