Nice qualityNickThe size and build is of good quality. I would say the instructions and ease of assembly is similar to other Ikea products, it wasn't too hard. The steps saying it was a two person step were quite accurate. I think Ikea has stepped up the hardware over the years, there are a lot of neat connections pieces to hold the backing on securely (not like other furniture where the back is nailed on). I don't know about the review that mentioned it was not pre-drilled, mine was pre-drilled and all the parts fit together as intended. I would recommend this product.

Lovely - but hard to put together!KristenI bought this piece for my kitchen, to hold oversized casserole dishes and other serving pieces. It looks great and functions very well. However, buyers should be warned that assembly is not the usual IKEA easy-peasy. Holes are not pre-drilled, so everything must be carefully measured, marked and drilled before putting it together.

Attractive and Spacious, but not "Superior Quality"PaulaI loved this in the store and was so excited that it said "Superior Quality" on the display, so purchased it. It was difficult to assemble with the picture only instructions that were sometimes difficult to decipher. And during the process, I couldn't help but notice that it is ok quality, but certainly not superior quality, as there is a lot of plastic hardware and it is pretty much made of particle board with veneer. But it really is attractive and I am able to put all of my Christmas dishes (service for 12) in it, as well as many other large pieces from my regular dishes. All in all, for the price, it is totally worth it.

Beautiful Cabinet!KellyI am so happy with this sideboard! We bought it to use for toy/art storage and the quality is better than I expected. We didn't have any assembly issues. All pieces lined up perfectly. It took my husband and I about 3 hours to get it organized and put together. It looks so nice in our family room!
IKEA needs to use better materials to hold furniture together.SharonThe product looks nice and seems sturdy but uses poor materials for the install. I don’t expect it to last long and plan to give it away. Product was too expensive for the quality of materials.
High-quality and beatifulCarolI'm so happy with the Idanas sideboard. It was not the easiest to put together, but doable. I like finding youtube videos to watch first. I didn't find one specific to the sideboard, but the other versions of Idanas still helped. I love it!

Tough assembly.RobertThis was the 5th IKEA product I have put together. It was by far the most difficult. The instructions do warn you that it takes two people. The base does not use locking nuts as othe IKEA peoductsand can pull apart as you flip,it over to finish assembly. When I got it together, it was very difficult to align th doors. I it is fulfilling the function I bought it for, but I still haven’t been able to lign up the doors perfectly.
