Machine wash warm, normal cycle.

Perfect blue sofaCasieExpensive beach house vibe on a budget
Wonderful sofaCynthiaWe lost our beloved Ektorp in a hurricane and knew we wanted to get another Ikea sofa. Three fit comfortably on the sofa and I love the bench seat so no one is on a "gap." It's beautiful, extremely comfortable and supportive, and holds its shape. We have fallen asleep on it more than a few times with no problems. It's also a bargain compared with similar sofas we looked at. Some were about 4000-5000 for very similar slipcovered sofas with bench seats. We have not attempted to wash the covers yet but I'm buying an set of slipcovers to change the look and to use while our covers are being cleaned. Highly recommend. I hope they keep making it. I was disappointed that the Ektorp was no longer available but this one is great.
Needs better colorsNancyWhy are all of the colors muted or cool toned? Even the green and brown colors are mixed with gray. The era of gray furniture is over! There is not enough range of colors, especially warm, rich tones.
So ComfortableSabrinaLove how large this sofa is, and changing the covers is SO easy compared to older models of IKEA couches. We love how firm the bottom cushion is and we all say we wish we could sleep on it!

Better than expectedAmandaPurchased in January and reviewing 7 months later -- this couch is awesome. I'm 5'10" and have slept comfortably here multiple times. The washable covers are perfect for little ones or pets. It looks much more expensive than it costs and wears well!
Beautiful Sofa, butLibbyThis sofa is made well and is easy to put together and really is beautiful, but it is the most uncomfortable sofa that I hav ever had. I bought it in March and had to get rid of it in August. It really looked nice in the family room, but everyone that sat on it complained how uncomfortable it was. The cushions are so hard and even with a featherbed added it did nothing to help it. I had to pay the city to hall it to the dump.
