I have been using this rod system for yearsHarveyI love this rod & bracket system, and it's versatility. But - why does Ikea put labels / stickers on this product that do not peel right off?. They are very difficult to remove, it takes chemicals. And they are nearly always still visible after installation, since they are at the end of the rod next to the finial. A lot of unnecessary work to remove them.3

Thank goodness for PinterestLORII wanted one curtain rod to span most of the width of my living room wall. I searched from the big box stores to online specialty shops and found nothing. Then I saw just what I was looking for on Pinterest which led me to IKEA. I bought two rod sets and used the large ends on both and the smaller inside tube to connect and strengthen both ends. Buying both Hugad rods, brackets and end caps was cheaper than buying the fancy end caps at Lowe’s/Macys. I have found that I really like the clean look that doesn’t compete with my drapes.5
