Who Packed This??JayDon't bother having this shipped. It's a beautiful mirror, but it arrived with zero protection on the mirrored glass surface. No protective film, no cardboard sheet, NOTHING. And as a result, there are Morse-code-like scratches along the width of it in multiple spots. I can't even understand why anyone would pack a mirror so shoddily. The customer service representative was nice and helpful, but even she said they'd likely ship a replacement in the exact same way. So, I had to choose a refund. I was excited for this to arrive and waited 10 days for it to get here, and it ended up being a complete waste of time.
ShowpieceTracyThis mirror is what dreams are made off!
10/10!!!CevonGreat mirror for my wife’s make-up room. Excellent quality & sturdy.
IdealNadineThe sticker price does describe how great this mirror is. I don't find any distortion at all. It's elegant, tall, and has clean lines. I love it!
🪞AashiMy second time getting it I see so many full mirrors in the market but hands down the best minimal and just perfect
wow hermosoCarolinaen mi sala se ve espectacular
perfect for my loft apartmentStephaniedelivered to my building quickly and without a scratch, it's a perfect match for my loft apartment
distorted mirrorIrfanthe mirror is visibly wavy and distorts the way you look. im very upset at this
Room-brightening MirrorAndreaI bought 2 Hovets, one for a landing on a dark stairwell, and the other to hang over a three seater sofa in the living room. In both places it instantly brightened and visually opened up the area.
I was able to transport and hang both mirrors myself. I used a long strip of cardboard from the box to make a template for the holes and then taped the template to the wall…worked great!
The mirror is sturdy and reflects evenly, no distortion in mine. The simple black frame gives off a modern vibe and updated my living room. My adult kids all liked the change. It’s a fantastic mirror for the price and I am even thinking I might get a third one for the entry.
Simple, modern and easy to installDanThe mirror was shipped to me in perfect condition. I used it in my home gym. I highly recommend this mirror and plan to buy another one for my bedroom.
Nice mirrorEstebanIt looks really nice in the bathroom. It is not heavy which helps with the installation.
Mirror... MirrorSandyGreat accent to any room! Love it!
Price jump $20AlWent to buy it online after seeing it online. When I got to the store a day later it was $20 up from $149. I’m done with IKEA!
Fabulous Fatima-EzzahraeI like this mirror! It’s huge and has great quality as well.
Love it!DeborahIt’s absolutely gorgeous in my entryway, and was fairly easy to install.
Ridiculous price increasesJonathanI saw this mirror last year for around $90 and now it is listed at $170. There is absolutely no reason for a simple mirror to nearly double in price in just a year. And it is not just this item. Many other IKEA products have significantly increased in price too.
IKEA used to be a reliable and affordable home brand, but these price hikes make it feel like they have lost touch with what made customers loyal in the first place. It is disappointing to see affordability disappear while the quality stays the same.
When this thing breaks it SHATTERSVirginiaLoved our Hovet mirror, but we opened a window and I can only assume wind got behind it and it fell onto our bed and shattered. The tiniest shards of glass are everywhere. Don’t even know what to do fully. So if you’re going to get it be careful where you put it
Its huge! Made for big people like me!JasonIt's a mirror. Works as intended. I'm not a vampire. If you do plan to hang it up. Make sure the wall can support it. It is slightly heavy to mount to the drywall IMO. I have mine leaning against the wall.
Best mirror everErinThis mirror is truly the best. It’s so big, and pretty light weight. I understand getting smaller mirrors if your space cannot fit it, but if it can, definitely get this one. Best mirror!
Price IncreaseRachelThis mirror went from $129 to $169. That's a massive price increase, without any modifications or upgrades to the mirror. Just something to keep in mind.
