When standing on the floor, the mirror must be anchored to the wall using the enclosed fittings.To be positioned securely in place, this mirror requires 2 screws if hung on the wall and 3 screws if placed on the floor tilted against and anchored to the wall.Suitable for use in most rooms. When placed in a bathroom, the mirror must be mounted on a wall.

Ridiculous price increasesJonathanI saw this mirror last year for around $90 and now it is listed at $170. There is absolutely no reason for a simple mirror to nearly double in price in just a year. And it is not just this item. Many other IKEA products have significantly increased in price too.
IKEA used to be a reliable and affordable home brand, but these price hikes make it feel like they have lost touch with what made customers loyal in the first place. It is disappointing to see affordability disappear while the quality stays the same.
When this thing breaks it SHATTERSVirginiaLoved our Hovet mirror, but we opened a window and I can only assume wind got behind it and it fell onto our bed and shattered. The tiniest shards of glass are everywhere. Don’t even know what to do fully. So if you’re going to get it be careful where you put it
Its huge! Made for big people like me!JasonIt's a mirror. Works as intended. I'm not a vampire. If you do plan to hang it up. Make sure the wall can support it. It is slightly heavy to mount to the drywall IMO. I have mine leaning against the wall.

Mounting hardware is insufficient RicardoLove the mirror but the hardware provided is no where near durable enough to hold this mirror up. 2 little bolts that don't go more than 1/4 inch into the wall....had to use my own hardware
Perfect mirrorTamaraOur son has this mirror and we had a smaller beveled glass one. My husband kept going to our son’s to use so I had to replace the smaller mirror for this one. It’s a nice size for a full length mirror.

Favorite mirrorCrystalI've had this mirror for almost a year and already loved it as is. Today, while updating the layout of my apartment, I prop the mirror against a wall before mounting it and I step away for a sec. The mirror falls flat on its face with a very loud SLAP and my heart sinks as I'm thinking I've ruined a perfectly good mirror. I was so impressed to find not a single scratch or crack as I pulled the mirror back up. If I could give it more stars, I would!
