Abysmal over complicated assemblyErikI’ve put together plenty of ikeas infernal assemblies but this is truly abysmal. 45 minute construction for a garbage coat hanger? It mentions mid way through the construction process it needs to be placed on a table with an overhang. At which point nuts that are free hanging in the part will fall out, and you will have to disassemble it all when you realize the error. May god have mercy on your soul.2
Good purchaseNormanOur entry needed a place for shoes, hats, coats, and seating. Worked perfect. Added a print to the rectangle opening. Added a battery LED light strip that senses movement. Looks and works awesome. 5
Love it want more colors.NathanI have this at home it’s great. I would like another one but would love to have it in the dark gray stained color. It would go great in living room. I have the bookcases and the tv bench in the dark gray stained and would love to add this to the room as well.5
Hanging rackDebraPurchased 2 for a narrow hallway. Like the improved hardware. Wish the hanging rail was about 4 inches closer to the back. I will be modifying. Removed the eye hooks once fron the side rails which are machine threaded and the holes are stripped. I purchased replacement eye hooks with wood threading and will reinforce with Gorilla glue. I think the side rails are particle board and should have had a metal sleeve where the eye hooks attach to since it assumed that their will be some weight from hanging clothes.4
Hardware is three different colorsACouldn't find it on display, so purchased it based on website photos. Out of the box, the hardware is three different colors of black/gray. The bar and the two supporting pieces are very black. The round knobs are black with speckled gray/white, so they look a bit lighter. The side metal pieces are dark gray and are lighter than the knobs. This is noticeable in the room, especially when there are other black accents on the walls. Also, one of the knobs had a scratch across the front and the black bar had areas of light scratch marks as if maybe this had been used with hangers already. Will have to be returned.1

More than a hat rack!RoseI haven't assembled it yet. Need assistance from the spouse to take down the strip of wood with hooks on it first. This rack will look so much better and help organize things better in the back entry.made 3 trips up to the store just to get it and more things.5

Practical UnitPierreThis unit looks great! It has plenty of hooks for coats and jackets and a wide shelf for hats and gloves. The only flaw in this unit is the two protruding tabs for screws on the top.4
