A Sturdy and Good-Looking BedChristopherI bought this bed, along with two nightstands and a 3-drawer dresser from the same collection, for a guest bedroom we had renovated. I assembled everything myself because I had the time. I only had one minor hiccup with the assembly guide where it was not clear how many dowel pins were needed. But I was able to quickly resolve it. My advice is to match up all the parts before each assembly step to avoid errors. I can also say that subsequent pieces will get easier as many of the assembly methods are common to all the furniture. Overall, I am impressed. The bed is rock solid. I did pay a little extra for the framed foundation and that probably helps with structural integrity. The Hemnes collection is very nice looking and solidly constructed. I will definitely consider buying additional furniture from IKEA and would recommend,5
