In 2025, the stitching that holds the seat mesh in place came apart and IKEA made it clear it is not warranted nor do they have replacement parts. Really disappointed in IKEA as they're usually great on this kind of thing. Don't buy it.1
Beautiful - not machine washable JoyLove these and they are super stylish . They have survived 3 winters in Colorado - we keep them covered 99% of the time . Just don’t machine wash the covers . The filling in the cushion will bust out and the sheath holding it in is paper thin . Learned my lesson the hard way . Will be attempting to use a handheld carpet / upholstery cleaner instead . 4
Love it KarolinaIt’s been like two years and I still love this set up. I have a loveseat and two chairs. It’s super comfortable and it looks contemporary. Unlike other reviewers, I have washed the covers and had no problems with the cushions. After all this time, I am still super pleased with it! Would highly recommend this outdoor seating as nothing out there resembles the look and comfort! 5

Impossible to wash the couch cushionsGraceDo not buy this unless you plan to keep it covered 100% of the time when not in use. The cushions are NOT washable. The interior filling is held together with hopes and dreams. Any light pressure will tear the thin material and let all the filling loose--that is, if the squirrels didn't tear through the cover to get to it first.
Take a look at the "HAVSTEN seat/back pad" listing for plenty more one star reviews. A replacement set costs $190.
Yes, it does look nice. But whomever awarded this product the Red Dot Design Award clearly did not use it for a prolonged period in the context it was designed for. 1

Love it, but some false advertisingNaomiThis unit used to be available as a 3-seater and it currently outside the US. I ordered a chair and a love seat as it is still advertised as customizable, hoping to make a 3 seat sofa. However, they do not offer additional center supports. I can order the screws needed but not center supports to attach each chair to the next for a longer sofa. I don’t understand why they have made the options so limited, or at the very least, they should remove the photos showing additional set ups since they can not be done with what is available for sale.
The sofa itself I love. I sat at one in an Airbnb and figured if it was durable enough for an Airbnb it would work for me. It was sold out at the time, so I ordered once it was finally available. Hopefully they sell armless versions in the future so you can actually customize a unit.4
