The middle is sagging/dipping after 2 monthsBelindaMy Hauga wardrobe is dipping only after a couple of months. It’s not even completely filled. I only use it for my everyday items such as work clothes and the remaining goes into my regular closet1
Bad decision.AlaineWhat happened to old IKEA assembly? Now the main parts are held together by plastic pegs, which can make the panels slide out of place and make the entire wardrobe cockeyed and misaligned. We also realized after we bought it that there are no additional shelving options. There are no additional rods we can purchase. This was intended for my husband's clothes so I didn't need a full length wardrobe. I was hoping to be able to adjust it into shelves or additional clothing rods. No such luck. This was the worst assembly ever and we consider ourselves pretty good. The entire thing is just flimsy. Once we lifted the frame up and the only thing to add was the door it was wobbly. We have it propped up against another wardrobe. This was a huge mistake but we threw out our old wardrobe and this will stand until the future when we move and throw it out. 1
I love our wardrobes, butSarahI love these wardrobes. I bought 2 and assembled them myself. Broke a toe when I dropped it down onto it, but that was my own fault. If you don’t follow directions and do it alone, watch your toes. My ONLY complaint is IKEA offering additional shelves, but not rods. I need 2 more rods. :( We live in an old farmhouse with our 3 young boys and only have one small closet. I bought these so they could grab their own clothes. Two rods isn’t enough for all seasons of clothing. I’d give it 5 stars if not for that. We use them daily and I’ve not had an issue with the doors since the wardrobes are level and straight.4
Doors come offVictoriaDon’t recommend. Definitely a hazard since the doors unclip from the top causing them to fall. I’ve come back to them on the floor a couple times. I would keep this in mind if this is for everyday use. 1
Perfect!LisaWe needed an entry hall closet for coats, bags, some extra shoes, umbrellas. This is perfection- the sliding doors make it perfect for our entryway, the color is exactly the gray I was looking for, and the size is exactly what our large family needed. I love this piece! 5
Doors are FLIMSYDeborahI've been purchasing Ikea furniture since 1988 and I find the quality is sadly diminishing. These sliding doors are nothing like my first wardrobes purchased on Long Island in 1988.4
Decent wardrobe with a few flawsTasnimI purchased this wardrobe recently. It is tall, wide and very nice to look at. I would like shelves over the hanging option so I am ordering more shelves. I did not assemble it on my own and after the assembly was completed, I realized a few flaws. A common complaint I have been seeing is that the doors do not slide smoothly nor do they close full as well. It is true, there appears to be a gap even though I had attempted to fully slide the door close. Secondly, I would like to add you have to handle the wardrobe doors carefully or the doors' might actually stop sliding or get stuck. Besides all of this, I think it is a decent wardrobe for the price. With extra shelves, I don't think this can hold as much clothes as my previous wardrobe which was smaller and only drawers, but I will make it work. One more thing, for assembly please get help, it is very heavy!!4
Nice WardrobeBarbaraThis wardrobe looks rich. It is compact. Great addition to my smallest bedroom. Love the space saving sliding doors. Easy to put together.5
Great quality! BelindaI was shocked how great of a quality it was! Extremely happy with it. The only thing that needs improvement is the sliding door mechanism. Doesn’t slide as smoothly but still overall a great product 5
CheapLaurieCheap material, the doora fall off every time I try to slide them1
Perfect Second ClosetElizabethThis wardrobe has solved the tiny, narrow closet in my apartment and I am very happy with the both the appearance and utility of it.5
Putting it together EricaI do not like having to pay for the item and then pay for someone else to put it together. I am trying not to do that. Then I didn't have a part and they said they would send me one through the mail. I put the order in 2 times. I'd still be waiting. I truly don't want to have to pay for someone else to put it together for me. 1
Slide doorsFatimaEach time I attempt to open the door, the slides come off the rail.1
New to IkeaKirstenLove, love, love. I didn't realize Ikea delivered to my area. I'm glad I finally figured it out. These cabinets are perfect amd have helped me to get my room organized. 5
Extra Clothing StorageCynthiaPurchased this for my mother for extra storage for her clothing. Wonderful edition sliding doors hanging garment rod's beautiful grey color will purchase another one.5
Almost perfectPatriciaOur two Hauga closets are just right for our space, look great, and are functional. The difficulty is in the assembly. Lining up the pegs in the shelves was problematic in both units, which resulted in slightly off-kilter closets. Despite this, we are fairly happy with our purchase; we'd buy again but definitely pay for assembly!4
Hauga storage MarketaI am very happy wit the product, bought two into my hallway. Really easy to put together, took me and my husband about 45 each piece. Doors are easy to adjust gaps between if you just follow instructions. 5
Very flimsyAfafI’ve always been a big fan of ikea products but this one was just a total failure for me. I’m very disappointed. It was so flimsy we could not even complete the setup, before it just collapsed. The hardware is almost all made of plastic which I do not think is suitable/ holds up for its large size. I will literally have to throw it away. 1
Very good person having more skills SunilI got name but very good person having many experience so I would recommend all my friends only IKEA 5
