Designed to be used both on its own throughout the home and is also a perfect fit with other furniture in the HAUGA series, either to coordinate the style or create bigger storage solutions.

The desk has a compartment under the table surface with a sliding front. You can slide the front from side to side to cover a part of the compartment and the items you store there.

It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.

I had all the furniture delivered and assembled by the Ikea contractors. The sofa was returned because of missing pieces and Ikea refused to supply the items. The chair is wobbly and not safe to sit on. Customer service is awful and demening to me and their contractors. I have furnished several of my rental properties with Ikea and was always pleased. This is a disaster. Never again.4

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
