Compost for chickens. MichaelWe were have a heck of a time trying to find a compost bucket solution for kitchen scraps, this and the 3 gallon size is perfect, I use 2 bins, one for compost and one for pop cans. I love it!!!
A must have in the kitchen LanceThe convenience of a pull-out drawer for garbage & recycling bins is definitely a space saver. The install was fairly easy. I had to add additional support under the unit to adapt to my kitchen cabinet. The unit is fairly sturdy and slides in & out very easily.

I was initially skeptical because it looked and felt a little flimsy before I installed, but once it was installed (which took less than 10 minutes), it is sturdy and does the trick.

PERFECT FOR THE SMALL SPACEWarrenIt is a very easy to install and able to put the recycle and trash cans together.
So close yet so far awayColleenThis is almost delightful. There's a detente on the retracted position, so you have to give it a yank to pull it out (it feels like a magnetic latch). But there's no detente on the extended position. Once you pull it out, it slides back into the cupboard by itself, so you have to hold the bin with one hand, hold your recycling with one hand, and then somehow open the lid with your third hand. Trying to put recycling in the bin? Bin slides away from you. Let go of the bin for a second? Bin slides away from you. So much as touch the lid to begin to open it? Bin slides away from you. It's like those trick boxes that close themselves -- a recycling bin that keeps itself clean by prevent you from putting things in.
It comes with the tray preassembled to the slides, or I would have set them the other way around and solved the problem.
Looks nice, but will annoy you every day for the rest of its life. IKEA, please put a detente on the extended position!!!
