Bar Table and chairsTeriEasy to assemble, perfect height. Very comfortable
Just what i wantedJoannI bought this to replace the kitchen table and chairs in our recently purchased house where there is not enough counter space without doing a whole kitchen remodel. This set up creates a casual place to have a bite to eat or to use as a counter for food prep. Looks great too.
Only one issue - Two of the chairs did not have the pre-drilled holes for the crosspiece under the seat. Easy fix if you have a drill and are handy.
Wrong table topKesha ThorntonI purchased the black bar table. When we opened the box it had the pine table top not BLACK. The legs in the package are black so the manufacturer packaged the wrong table top. This is so disappointing.
This table is okKatelynnI searched high and low for a high top table that would be decent quality for a good price. I finally landed on this one. Though I like the height it is very cheap. When I took one of the chairs out of the packaging the sticky stuff stuck to the outside of one of the chairs. I tried to get it off but it started to take the black finish off the chair. Then I noticed after assembling the top of the table has a crack already in it. I'm sure I could have unassembled and returned but it took me 3 hours to put together because the directions were awful and I didn't have a power drill for some parts of it so it took a lot of manual label. Overall yes the table looks good in the space, but for the price I think I'd pass and splurge on something more high quality.
Table top finishDwightThe table top's end edges were not coated enough with the black paint/stain - the end grain white wood showed through and the bubble wrap left an imprint on part of the table top.

Nice SetDianaNice set for single individual. It was easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. It has not been heavily used yet.
DefectiveMariaThe tabletop I revived had a slight bend to it that was not visibly noticeable. A 2ft-long crack formed in the table 10 minutes after I assembled it due to the bend. It's sad because it is a beautiful table.

Great table for price EnidThis table is really pretty and it is a great value for the price. Assembly of table and chairs was relatively easy EXCEPT that the seat part of the chairs have no holes for the screws so you will have to be extremely careful if using an impact gun/drill to add the screws. I thought it kind of weird that it would require you using a drill or impact gun to finish assembling the chairs when everything else was so easy. Other than that I love my new table.
Wrong table, same nameRachelMeant to get the HÄGERNÄS table and four chairs, antique stain pine. It was in Aisle 27 Bin 1. Great, we go to aisle 27 Bin 1 and get the HÄGERNÄS table and four chairs in antique pine, carry it up four flights of stairs and assemble the table. Turn the table over..... ummm why is it so tall? Look at the directions, it's for the HÄGERNÄS table. What did we do wrong? I had to look it up on the website. There are TWO tables and chairs with the SAME NAME, IKEA WHAT. Now what do I do??? Un-assemble the table and bring it back?? This sucks.
