should be pulled from shelvesTaraI foolishly thought that since my local store had been out of stock for an extended time, that when they restocked, surely the known manufacturing flaw in the wire stretcher would have been fixed. Sadly, I was very wrong. I was able to bend the wire enough to hang the shade, but it did not look good or seem sturdy. The lantern itself is also wonky and of poor quality, even for the price. I'm so angry at the time, money, and resources being utterly wasted by the existence of this garbage product. Now I need to make another hour drive to return the dumb thing.

Bracket too long- lopsided and damage proneDelaneyThe internal brace to keep the shade open and attach a light to is made for the larger size and bends inside the 17” shade, which causes it to lean to one side and be lopsided. Additionally, because it’s too long, the bracket is prone to slipping when trying to be placed an you risk puncturing the very delicate shade. I would not recommend this shade unless you use your own hardware.
