One crib side can be removed when the child is big enough to climb into/out of the crib.

Baby crib EverMy kid loves it because she is able to sleep better and we also love it because safety reasons. For example, when she wakes up, she can stand up and it’s high enough to prevent her from going out of it.

Work as intended and easy to put together. ***Note that when assembled it's wider than door frame, so need to disassemble if need to move to another room. We are using it with Ikea's bed rail and it's a fantastic toddler bed. Love that it's mostly wood.
Conversion kitShannonI purchased this crib second hand. Came with manual and was easy to put together, nice and sturdy. I didn’t receive the conversion kit, and I see nothing about purchasing one. Also there is a lot of paint chipped around the top rail, but it is second hand so I don’t know how rough the previous owner was with the crib.
Why are there permanent warning labels??LindsayThis crib was easy to put together, and no frills - exactly what we were looking for. But why are there ugly printed warnings about child fatality risks on the outside of both sides of the crib??? There are already warnings on the mattress support board, but the printed warnings on the wood of the crib make it look so ugly :( I had no idea that would be there because it isn’t in any of their pictures for this product.

The only thing I don't like (and this is for all ikea models) is that the crib is to low, to close to the floor. So, I have to bend over a lot to be able to lay down my baby, and if he wakes up several times in the night, this kills my back pretty bad. Other than that, amazing product.

Great sizeAnonymousI bought this crib for my in-laws house so my son can spend the night. He's at that awkward stage where he's outgrown a pack and play but too young to sleep in a bed. (He's 14 months and wears a 2T.) When my other kids went through this phase we just stayed home but we just couldn't skip Easter this year. So...this crib was perfect. It has a small profile so it doesn't take up a whole room. It is secure and keeps my little one safe. I wish I had bought this crib for my nursery. Instead I bought a huge statement piece kind of crib and it takes up way too much room for the same sleeping space.

There's pieces of baby furniture that we splurged on, but for us this crib just worked perfectly. We haven't had the chance to convert it to a toddler bed yet, but we were happy to see the conversion kid came with it, so the crib will be able to grow with our little one for a few years.
