Water intrusion in outdoor light ruined my smart light bulbsAllanThese are rated ip44 and the product description says “The lamp is protected against moisture and water so you can use it outdoors.”
But I have had water intrusion despite repeatedly trying to tighten the covers on the top and bottom. These allow moisture inside and I was electrocuted when I tried to check the bulb.

Faulty design. Light leak.JeffAs others have said, light leaks from the top and bottom openings where the lens screws to the tube. However, I came up with an acceptable solution that doesn't involve black tape. Unscrew the top and bottom lenses just a little, and a nice even band of light will show through, and it looks like it is intentional.
Design flawTristanThis product would be great if it didn’t have an inherent design flaw. The screw on ends are clear plastic and allow light to leak between the main body and the screw on ends. If the screw parts were opaque black plastic and the lens was clear it would solve this problem. I will be returning this item.
not meant for uneven surface wallsSachinMost external walls here in the US are bricks or stones. These fixtures are really meant for flat smooth walls and not uneven walls. When I realized that I had to get different longer black screws and cap nuts. It was rather painful to find. Also that creates a gap between the fixture and wall that I had to caulk. I put 6 of these so turned out rather longer process. But they look good.

I like theseCassandraIt’s a pretty good looking light. I put them outside; I like the size, and the installation was simple. I would listen to the other review and opt for longer screw that mounts the light to the wall. After purchasing new screws to account for my houses textured exterior they worked out well.
