Shakes apart from normal useCalebI would leave negative stars if I could. This bed gets wobbly and requires frequent retightening. After buying slats and a mattress I would say you are better off getting something else. I would rather sleep on a mattress on the floor.
Not for meKarenI bought this two years ago. Ultimately it wiggles /does not feel solid. I’ve tightened all the little bolts and it doesn’t change. In addition hard Corners-Not my preference. Also, while making the bed, I’ve stubbed my toes on the middle section and it’s quite painful. I need to find a new bed frame.

Solid, Easy to BuildKimberlyI purchased a twin bed for guests, but I've been sleeping on it to test it out for the last few days. The bed is solid (I'm a med/large woman) and I like the space under the bed. I did not purchase a mattress from Ikea, but the frame is solid and it was pretty easy to put together. I am fairly adept at using my hands, but I'm pretty sure anyone with a little stamina and patience can do it. The trickiest part was getting the slats aligned, but I figured out that you just need to start with them all bunched together before trying to spread them out across the frame. It took about an hour to build. I am not one to rush a build and that helps me get things done right. The directions say to have two people building and I can see how it would definitely help, but I did it alone and I am in my 60s.
