Despite being firmly grounded in the science of play, the design process was as playful as the products themselves. Each designer was asked to start in the everyday activity where they get lost in the moment and simply have fun – and to create items that make people smile. “To me, playfulness is a way of looking at life that boosts creativity and makes me believe that everything is possible. I won’t ever allow my inner child to grow up”, says Marta Krupinska, one of the designers behind the collection.

Decor over functionJuliePros: It's adorable; makes a nice decor piece; mood light. Cons: Battery powered; on for 15 mins only. If you're buying this as a "lamp", don't. It's not a lamp. If you're buying it as a mood light or night light, be aware it only stays on for 15 minutes at a time. Would be better if it was AC powered and would stay on until turned off, like regular night lights (or for enjoyment for those of us "adult kids" who find it just too cute.)
Beautiful shape- awful lightKateIf you don’t care that the light doesn’t really work and in need of a sculpture at home - YES - it’s a great design! But as a light fixture it’s horrible. It’s not even lighting up anything around itself. Plus ours won’t stay on for more than half a minute
Arrived dirty BiancaThe box this came in was filthy upon arrival and to my surprise (and disgust), the product inside the box was also filthy. My hands were so dirty from touching the parts and not even Lysol wipes could clean them up. My son was so excited to open the box and then was disappointed when it was so dirty. All the products in my delivery came covered in dirt. Disappointing considering they supposedly came from a store an hour and a half away.

Why is this battery operated?MichaelWhat purpose does a AA-powered, battery operated light serve? This thing is just going to churn through batteries, creating a pile of relatively hazardous waste.
If this was a simple plug-in lamp, I'd be ordering 2-3 right now. Kids are 100% going to leave this on and rip through batteries.
Amazing Design, Awful LightMoAs a yellow enthusiast this caught my attention immediately. It’s such a cute and wonderful design!! I was so ready to jump on it but got stuck on the fence once i found out it was battery powered. I tested the light in Ikea and it was mid. It only stays on for like 15 mins 💀 The other dog design in the same line has a better light Fs, unfortunate that it’s blue. This would’ve been a perfect wired light!! Sad. Anyways I loved the design so much I bought it anyways lol. It’s way bigger than I thought which is cool. Easy to set up. One leg kinda pissed me off because of the manufacturing info on the plastic mold. If you twist the leg holes tight enough it’ll face the outside. Wish it could be hid better instead of having it be slightly looser than the others. SMH but not terrible. I love how it looks in my room just wish it was better for that price tbh. Might setup a wired light inside it in the future. We’ll see!!

Cute but needs better QCZacharyCute lamp, definitely kid friendly. Unfortunately ours came with some qc issues where one of the legs attach so it leans to the side about 2 inches and one leg doesnt make contact with the ground. unfortunately that means we have to make another drive out to ikea to exchange.

Super Cute, DimPatrickThe unit is well made and delightfully cute. The little dome light is very dim though. It feels more like an elaborate night light compared to some of the other battery powered led lights I've gotten from Ikea.
