its cute but just okayKadenHonestlh checks all of my boxes: Storage, Mirror, Green, not oversized fits my space. But to be honest - the installation was a pain - plus it didnt come with the wall screws needed to hang. Not to mention i think the mirror i recieved is bent but not a crazy amount so its not bothersome.3
Impossible to levelMeganUnless you know how to weld or want to re-engineer how the mirror door is attached to the frame there is no possible way to hang this level. After hours of fiddling and multiple holes in my wall I gave up. Looking at this crooked is already making me angry. 1
Great designAmyThis is the 2nd Granvag mirror I’ve purchased. I love how there’s space behind it to store stuff (needs to be thin, like belts or empty bags) on moveable hooks for the 1 I have in the entry, and how the mirror swings for the 1 I have tucked in a nook of my closet. It can be flipped “upside down” to swing in either direction. I sometimes use the bottom & top bars to dry laundry. It’s sturdy. I only wish that it was offered in different colors. 5

poorly designed, low qualityErikaI wanted to love the Granvag mirror... It arrived slightly damaged (a corner had a small crack) and it wasn't as high quality as I hoped. But I still like the aesthetic in real life. So I didn't return it. I waited until after the return period to install it, and discovered that the screws were poorly sized for the holes. The mirror is also REALLY poorly designed. The screws that anchor the mirror to the bracket are behind a bar, which makes it a PITA to screw in. As someone else said there's no margin of error for installing the brackets. If they're even a couple millimeters off you won't be able to screw the mirror to the bracket. There is no way they made a prototype of this, tried to hang it, and decided this was a good design.1
Hooks fall offRileyI think the mayor looks good but the hooks keep falling off every time I use them. Am I missing something here?2
EhLauraI kinda hate this thing. I wanted to love it, but my goodness it felt impossible to level. Securing the mounts was a very precise job with zero wiggle room. Once hung the storage area was level but the mirror while closed was not. Very frustrated.3

pretty but arrived bent and dustyJennyleeBought this 2 months ago and finally got around to installing it. While pretty, one end of the metal curve arrived bent. Not a big deal but the biggest problem for me was that it was covered with this red-ish and black dust. Could potentially be rust and I can't seem to wipe it off. It seems to have stained many areas of the metal surround. Other than that, the mirror is fine and is quite useful for a small space!3

Arrived ShatteredSarahI was so excited to receive this mirror. It must have gotten damaged during shipping. When we opened it to hang it, it was shattered. I'd love to have a replacement but not sure how to do that. I tried to reach out to customer service but couldn't see a place were I could directly email or speak to someone about the broken mirror.1

What is mirror glass?

Mirror glass is made of mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.

“I love simple line drawings, so when I designed the GRANVÅG mirrors I wanted to recreate the same graphic and airy expression. The thin steel frames are perfect since they’re strong and can be powder coated in vibrant colours. I also wanted to build in smart storage with rails and hooks to hang scarves, jewellery and other accessories. Extra practical for small space living. Hopefully people like the graphic nature of the mirrors, as well as their functionality and beauty."
