The bed base can be placed at two different heights.
One crib side can be removed when the child is big enough to climb into/out of the crib.
Under the crib there is a spacious storage drawer equipped with runners for toys or extra bedding – easy to roll in and out, and with a built-in drawer stop that keeps the drawer in place.
Your baby will sleep both safely and comfortably as the durable materials in the crib base have been tested to ensure they give their body the support it needs.

Fake drawers unattached to the cribAnonymousThe drawers on the bottom aren't actually drawers. It's a single rolling box that isn't attached to th crib itself. It just rolls on the floor. Really really poor quality and absolutely infuriating to discover when assembling this four hundred dollar crib. Also it is absolutely PLASTERED with legal warnings all over the interior and exterior of the unit.
If it wasn't so hard to return I would. I may just do a chargeback.
The worst and most poorly misrepresented product I've ever purchased from IKEA. Garbage.
Love this cribViWe had a mini crib for my son originally and switched him to this one around 3 months old. We love that there’s a spacious drawer underneath to store all his clothes. We live with my in laws so me, my husband, daughter, and son sleep in the same room and there’s not a lot of space for another dresser for him. This is super practical for a small space. We just switched him over to the the toddler settting and didn’t love that it didn’t automatically come with a toddler rail but we just bought the toddler rail separately from Ikea (Nattapa) and it works great. Overall it’s a great crib and looks beautiful.

Cute, but ultimately dysfunctionalNicoleNot only is the drawer one unit versus 3, the toddler bed conversion is impractical. There are no rails that are offered as a paired set, and third party systems do not work because of the lip. Of course, we didn’t discover this until we were past the 365 day return policy, so now we’re stuck with a toddler bed that can’t provide peace of mind from falling out of bed in the middle of the night.
Great crib but lower setting is really far downErinIf I could improve one thing about this crib, I would add a third level to lower the mattress. The higher level is perfect for younger infants, but even at almost 5’8” I struggle to reach my baby when they are on the lower level because of the height of the crib rails and how far down the mattress is. And we have the thickest mattress. If you’re short, I’d caution against this crib unless you have a good step stool.
Otherwise, this is a great looking crib. It was not too complicated to build. The drawer underneath is huge and fits my entire child’s wardrobe. It’s also really easy to drop the platform to lower the crib. Its sturdy, and functional.
Baby cribRobinEasy to assemble. We glued most of it together. It has been removed on the room at least 4 times and it is still very sturdy. The drawer at the bottom is rather large and excellent storage. The drawer dividers work very well in it.

Don’t do it like me, I make a mistake purchase this productYousifit’s not worth it . when you move the Gonatt you will broke the drawers. so i don’t know there is separate between the bed and drawers.
