Broken bar stool ruins the chairGabbiI purchase four bar stools for my kitchen. After about a year, the bar stool’s foot rest rod broke off. Inside the rod were washers on both ends (permanently affixed items inside, not a step of the assembly). It’s impossible to screw the washers back inside the rod without them falling out. Unfortunately it’s not just a cosmetic issue, because once the center bar is off, the chair legs spread out and not longer safely support the weight of a person. It’s unfortunate such a core elements breaks so easily and quickly, with no option for remedy.1
