Sleek and modern! NicolasWe needed a sleek yet modern stool for our new kitchen island and the Glenn stool was perfect. I would give 5 stars, but we had an issue with one of screws when it wouldn’t go in all the way when you have to flip the chair over in one of the steps. Other than that, the counter stool is great to sit on and looks beautiful in our new kitchen island.

Broken bar stool ruins the chairGabbiI purchase four bar stools for my kitchen. After about a year, the bar stool’s foot rest rod broke off. Inside the rod were washers on both ends (permanently affixed items inside, not a step of the assembly). It’s impossible to screw the washers back inside the rod without them falling out. Unfortunately it’s not just a cosmetic issue, because once the center bar is off, the chair legs spread out and not longer safely support the weight of a person. It’s unfortunate such a core elements breaks so easily and quickly, with no option for remedy.

Beware: the feet horribly scratched up my wood flooringRebeccaI've had these stool for many years in two locations (8 in total), and I'm finally getting rid of them because I can't take the hassle of having to replace the adhesive felt pads I've been forced to apply to the feet because they scratch my floors. They are always shifting off to the side because the surface area of the feet is both too small and plastic so the pads won't stay in place. It's a constant battle, and my oak floors have been damaged to the point that I have to sand and refinish my entire kitchen in order to remove the scratches. Unless you have linoleum or fabricated flooring where scratches might not be so noticeable, or you can replace just that section at a minimal cost, do not purchase these stools.
